The Fairmont State University School of Business honored students for their academic achievement at the Delta Mu Delta Induction Ceremony and Scholarship and Award Presentations at the end of the spring 2017 semester.
Five students received awards for outstanding performance in their academic area.
- Mackenzie Harrison of Twinsburg, OH was awarded Outstanding Senior—Business.
- Travis Kirtner of Bridgeport was awarded ACBSP Outstanding Student Leadership Award.
- Lindsay Menas of Fairmont was awarded Outstanding MBA student.
- Simon Poling of Tunnelton was awarded Outstanding Senior—Information Systems.
- Taterida Ushendibaba of Fairmont was awarded Outstanding Senior—Accounting.
Raychel Fitzwater of Belington and Mackenzie Harrison of Twinsburg, OH received the Bloomberg Businessweek Excellence in Writing awards. Shawn Peters of Bridgeport received the Conley CPA Group Accounting Excellence Award, and Elizabeth Hughes of Carolina was awarded the Dream, Succeed & Lead honor.
