The Fairmont State University Theatre Program is proud to present several performances of Anton Chekhov’s Seagull in a new translation by Charlotte Pyke, John Kerr, and Joseph Blatchley. The play is a slice-of-life tragicomedy which includes themes of unrequited love and loss of opportunities. While some characters desire love, others desire success and fame, yet no character seems to truly achieve happiness.
