  • Prior to beginning an application - We need you to create an account or log into your account if you have already created one.  If you have forgotten your password, retrieve it here.
  • Fairmont State University only reviews transferable credit from regionally accredited institutions and institutions with national accreditation that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for acceptance as credit in our academic programs. The most current listing of sanctioned accrediting bodies can be found at www.ed.gov.

                                                            Summer 2020

  • Due to SEVIS guidelines International applications will not be accepted for Summer Sessions
  • May 15, 2020 - Last day to be admitted for the Summer I session. Classes begin May 18th
  • Applications received after May 15th will be processed for the Summer II session only
  • June 26, 2020 - Last day to be admitted for the Summer II session. Classes begin June 29th

                                                             Fall 2020

  • June 15, 2020 - International application deadline
  • July 31, 2020 - Last day to apply online.  Anyone wishing to apply after this date will need to contact admissions@fairmontstate.edu for an application
  • August 1, 2020 – Last day to be admitted for the fall 2020 semester
Nursing Applicants (ASN Program)

The ASN program is a selective program and requires an additional Nursing Program Application. This application must be submitted electronically and can be found at www.fairmontstate.edu/ASN-application

The Fall 2020 LPN-RN cohort is now closed, but the waitlist is still open. 

 The program application opens on the fourth Monday in August at 8:00 am (EST). This program also has additional requirements (please see the website for additional requirements).

Aviation Flight Applicants
The flight program is a selective/competitive program with a fall start only and requires an additional Flight Program Application. This application must be submitted electronically and can be found at www.fairmontstate.edu/aviation-application

Security & Fire Safety Report

The Clery Act mandates that all Title IV institutions, without exception, prepare, publish and distribute an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. This report consists of three basic parts: disclosure of the University’s crime statistics for the past three years; disclosure of the University’s fire statistics for the past three years; and disclosures regarding the University’s current campus policies related to personal, property and fire safety.
